This day is filled with so many emotions...
sadness, anger, pride...
And someday I will need to tell my kids what happened on this day.
Someday they will start asking questions.
So I don't ever want to forget what happened
where I was and how I felt
the people who sacrificed their lives for our country
the countless people that risked their lives
the people who lost a loved one or many loved ones
the way our country came together on a united front
the volunteers
the people who donated their time, money, and resources
the firemen who dug through the rubble to find body parts
the hundreds of thousands of men and women still risking their lives today
What a great country we live in.
I am so thankful for the freedom that I have.
And I hope that I don't forget to tell my children.
