Sometimes, in the day to day stuff that goes on I forget to slow down and listen to what my boys are saying. Of course, Henry doesn't really say much he just squeals and shrieks a lot, but Oliver says a lot. He says so much that sometimes I unknowingly tune him out.
But, lately, I've tried harder to listen and hear what he says...
D'yoo see dat? -Did you see that? He likes it when I watch him.
Henee nooze?- Can Henry take a snooze now? He likes to have my undivided attention.
Oli do it!!!- I can do it by myself! He likes to be independent.
Mama do it?- Can you do it now mom? But he likes me to be there just in case.

A pray (bowing head)- We need to pray. He reminds me to pray about things I never would have before.
Fire truck, fire hose, fire guys, fire station, wee ooo wee ooo!- Even though I say these words at least 800 times a day I want to make sure that you remember that I like these things! He likes it when I am excited about what he's excited about.
I love it when God reminds me of how blessed I am to have two amazing boys as mine. I need to make sure I am taking care of His kids.

Q has been saying
'i superman' lately
we have no idea where he found out about superman
but we love it when he says it:)
I know! I had trained myself not to listen to them calling my name all day long but now that Ben is potty trained I really listen! The sweetest thing is when he asks me to come wipe him and he hugs me and says "I love you mommy".
i am so excited for my henry to start talking about things like fire trucks - all we get around here is 'cinderella this and snow white that and i won't wear that dress because it doesn't work when i spin around' etc.
i just read anna's comment and i had to say too that it is so funny that ben is loving on the toilet - clara is super sentimenteal too! she always tells me she loves me with such deep emotion in the bathroom.
