McCall= heaven on earth

Have I ever told
you about McCall?
I'm sure I have
because it is my
most favorite place
on earth.

What is best about
it now is that
four generations
are enjoying it
together.

My grandparents
bought a condo there
the year I was born.
My mom had been
going there on
family vacations since
she was little
and now my children
are enjoying it
as well.

The smell of trees
and fresh air,
the magnificent site
of the mountains,
the chill of the lake,
the feel of the sand,
the sound of boats,
the air in your hair
on a boat ride, the smell
of sunscreen,
the taste of ice cream alley...

it's relaxation at it's finest.

This time I really
loved watching Oli
play in the sand
and water literally
all day long.
I think he loves it as
much as I do.


Even Henry got into it,
with the sweetest smiles
you ever saw.

If you ever come visit,
I will take you
there and you will
never, ever, want to go
home.
